Crews respond to 6200 block of Westgate Drive

ORLANDO, Fla. – Four apartments are uninhabitable after a fire Thursday night, according to Orlando firefighters.

Crews managed to contain the fire itself to two apartments in the complex along the 6200 block of Westgate Drive, according to a 9:48 p.m. post on social media.

No one was hurt and firefighters managed to save a cat, according to the post.

The apartment complex’s management and the American Red Cross were notified to help victims find new places to stay, according to the fire department.

Crews did not say how many people were affected by the fire.
