PINE HILLS, Fla. – Eight people. including three children, made it safely out of a Pine Hills home that caught fire early Monday, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.
The fire happened at a home along Fernhill Drive.
Firefighters encountered “heavy fire” and evacuated the five adults and three children in the home, according to fire rescue.
The state fire marshal is investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
The Red Cross is assisting the family.
